How can we overcome boredom and loneliness during Covid-19?
With businesses closed, people losing jobs, and people staying indoors more now than ever, are you bored out of your mind? Are you or someone you know feeling lonely? It's important to check up on those you haven't heard from in a while when normally you would. Check in with your older or extroverted friends. Check in with yourself.
Here are some tips that can help you overcome boredom and/or loneliness:
Learn a new skill such as cooking
Join a Facebook group of interests
Adopt a pet (pets are a commitment post Covid!)
Friendship Line (Institute on Aging): 1-800-971-0016
Disaster Distress Helpline: 1-800-985-5990
See if your health insurance covers Companion Care
Online senior citizens chat
Read a new ebook!
Check out random streets around the world!
Watch live animals from explore.org on YouTube

Additional tip: If senior citizen or medical staff, shop at stores during senior citizen/medical staff hours.
A good way to overcome being indoors so much is to learn something new! I personally picked up on baking! I'm getting pretty good at kneading bread ;)
These 60 calorie dinner rolls were insanely delirious! I used almond milk for a lower calorie option. ;)
